FSR Aspen Lite Clamshell Roof Top Tent

This is an extremely lightweight clamshell hard shell roof top tent that was designed to fit 2 adults. The entire design of the tent was designed to be as lightweight as possible and it weights only 110lbs! The Aspen Lite features an all aluminum frame and it was built to be durable enough to handle just about anything.

This RTT diferenciate itself from other hard shell tents out there as it does not have a regular plastic or even aluminum hard shell casing that most models have. As FSR wanted to create this tent as light as possible without having to sacrifice the standard of durability of the tent they had to come up with an innovative solution.

That's why the shell of this FSR roof top tent is has a tonneau style top constructed out of aluminum covered with 600D Oxford ripstop fabric that is tear resistant and completely waterproof. It even comes with a durable travel cover that will further protect it from harsh outdoor conditions. 

All Season Roof Top Tent

The body of this tent is constructed out of 3 layers of 150D poly-oxford fabric with 90g/M2 poly-fil and it can will keep you warm even during the coldest of nights while simultaneously protecting you from strong winds and any other unforgiving weather conditions. It also comes with a very rugged rainfly that will help when it is stormy outside.

Cool feature of this FSR tent is the diesel heater/ electrical passthrough. Those are the 2 ports on each side of the tent that'll give you that capability. In order to boast good airflow an minimize condensation, the Aspen Lite features ventilation ports that can be opened and set up in a matter of seconds.   

Interior & Construction

Inside of this roof top tent is very well insulated in order to keep you warm during colder days and cool during those hot, sunny days. Cool thing about this RTT is that you can unzip the inside fabric should you ever need to repair the tonneau fabric of the shell.

This is a very spacious tent that has a headroom of up to 60" and plus you get great panoramic view with it so that you can enjoy your next outdoor adventure. This tent features an all new Air-Core mattress, which is a hybrid foam-air design that you can inflate depending on your needs.

The interior of this Aspen Lite tent also features a ton of storage space with many storage pockets on pretty much every side of the tent that you can use to store away any smaller pieces of gear that you might have or some other personal belongings or even toiletries. Another cool thing is that it comes with an integrated LED light strip that is dimmable. 

Windows & Zippers

All of the windows as well as the entry point have separated tri-layer fabric and mesh fabric that keeps all the insects out of your tent. That way you can still look outside your tent without worrying that anything will come inside it.

Both the mesh window and the tri-layer window have their own zippers so that you can open either one of them according to your needs. Even the side windows of this Free Spirit roof top tent have been upgraded from 2 separate zippers to 1 consecutive one.

There are window openings on 3 sides of this Aspen Lite roof top tent so that you could enjoy the scenery around you. The zipper mechanism is also very smooth which will make opening and closing said windows a breeze.
